The Proclaimers of the Resurrection cadets have returned to Booth College at the conclusion of their summer outplacements. They have had wonderful opportunities to learn and to serve within both social centres and corps settings. The Cadets have returned praising God for all that they have seen, heard and experienced. The College is very grateful to divisional commanders, and also to the leaders of each mission centre (social and corps) for their willingness to engage cadets in their programmes.

Last evening, MCD University of Divinity held its ceremony for the conferral of degrees and awarding of diplomas. The Salvation Army was well were represented (both officers and lay Salvationists), and while the majority were awarded/conferred in absentia there were some in attendance. It was also a delight to have the presence of our own Commissioners Raymond and Aylene Finger as Heads of Churches.
In addition, Annita Allman was mentioned in the “Vice-Chancellor’s list” – one student from each College is noted for their contribution particularly to other aspects of life within that College. In Annita’s case, it related to her involvement as President of the Student Council, and for her coordination of fund-raising efforts for overseas.
