What has been the most challenging things about Training College?
I am a Cadet-in-Appointment, so the most difficult thing for me has been learning to juggling the demands of training with my responsibilites at the Corps. But there has also been the benefit that I am able to implement what I learn almost immediately.
What have you learnt about yourself?
I have become aware that the way I organise my life often has selfish motives. But through my training experience God has increased my love for people. As I have learnt to share my life with others my times alone with God have also become increasingly important and precious.
What are you expecting of Officership?
I am anticipating being a life-long learner and that each new appointment will not only require me to learn new skills, but will also deepen my understanding of who God is and how He relates to His creation. I am expecting to be stretched beyond what I can do in my own strength; that I will have to rely on God completely.
