The Student Council met on Monday, and were able to report that the following contributions were made to overseas Colleges;

The Indonesian College – $6,000
The Philippines College – $1,000
The Zambia College – $2,000

The money for Indonesia was entirely made up from FLOW/OVERFLOW revenue.
The money for the Philippines and Zambia were from other TACO (Train A Cadet Overseas) events and general fundraising.

Congratulations to Prayer Warriors, Ambassadors of Holiness and Friends of Christ for all of the work on the album and other fundraising activities. Thank you also to everyone who bought a CD or contributed to fundraising last year.

This money will make a HUGE difference to Cadet’s training overseas spent on things we take for granted here in Australia.

The money will be spent in the following ways;

Indonesia
The TC of the Indonesia Territory has reported that the College is in need of the following items;
(we were able to give them all of the money requested!)

3 Computers
50 Chairs
2 Sandwich makers
1 Rice cooker
1 microwave
5 cooking pans
2 air conditioners
A multi purpose platform

Philippines
This request came via Lt Col Robyn Clinch and again, we were able to meet the entire cost requested.
$750 for an electrician to install a generator (they have the generator but had no funds to get it installed)
The College in the Philippines suffers from DAILY power outages which last anywhere from 2 hours to 2 weeks!
$250 for books

Zambia
A TV/DVD player
Vital vehicle repairs for the Colleges only vehicle.
This vehicle initially had issues relating to a rat chewing wires but the issues grew to include the need for a major engine overhaul.
This 10 seat vehicle is used on weekends to transport Cadets for “Brigading” to remote villages and Corps who generally don’t have regular THQ or other visitors

All in all a sensational result!
